To create an account, click “Create an Account” found at the top of the web page. Once you’ve submitted your information, a temporary password will be emailed to you, at the address you provide. When you receive this email confirming registration, please sign in using the temporary password. Upon signing in for the first time, you will be asked to change your password. Back to Top Can I create and save a booklist online? Yes. If you create an account on the World Almanac Education website, you have the capability of creating and saving booklists online. To create a new booklist, you must first sign in to your account. Once you’re signed in, you can perform a product search and add any wanted items to a booklist. To save a booklist, Click “View Booklist” in the box on the right of the screen. Once you are in the booklist, there is a box labeled “Save This Booklist.” Enter a name for your booklist and a description in the spaces provided and click “Apply”. Back to Top Can I export my booklist into Microsoft Excel? Yes, exporting your booklist into Microsoft Excel is easy. When you are in your booklist, click “Print/Export.” At the Print/Export Options page, you can choose how you wish to view your booklist. Make your selections and then click “Export.” Your booklist will be exported into an Excel spreadsheet. Yes. World Almanac Education keeps all customer processing specifications on file. Performing a product search is easy. For a quick product search, you can simply enter an Item number or a keyword into the Quick Search Box on the right of your screen and click “GO!” If you would like to do a more detailed search, you can click the “Detailed Search” button found within the Quick Search Box, and a new screen will appear that will allow you to enter more specific search criteria. Back to Top Can I preview a page from a book or a kit worksheet online? Yes. Certain books and series will have a link in their description that says "View spread from series" or "View spread of this book." If you click on this link, it will open up a new window with picture of what the book/books look like inside. Back to Top Ordering FAQs How do I remove an item from my booklist? There are three ways of removing an item from your booklist. Method number is to click the checkbox next to the item, select "Remove unselected items" from the Options menu and click the Go button. The second method is to uncheck the checkbox next to the item and select recalculate, which will cross the item out of your list, but not remove it entirely. This is so that you can add the item back if needed. The third method is to change the quantity of the item to zero and then click the Recalculate button, which will remove the item from the list. Back to Top How do I access orders I submitted on the previous website? Unfortunately, the order information from the previous website could not be transferred to the new website. However, if you need any information on a previous order that you placed on the old website, you can contact our customer service department at 1-800-321-1147 and they will be happy to assist you. No. There is currently no way to track an order’s status on the World Almanac Education website. Back to Top Can I view previous orders on the World Almanac Education website? Yes. If you create an account on the World Almanac Education website, you have the capability of reviewing all previous orders that you have placed through the website. To view previous orders click on the “Your Account” tab at the top of the screen, select “Order History” and then click on which order you wish to view. Please keep in mind that if you fax, phone, or mail us an order, it will not be displayed online. Only orders placed through the website will be available to view online. Back to Top How do I place an online order? If you would like to place an online order, you will first need to create an account. Once you’ve created your account, you can either do a Quick Order or a Product Search to build your booklist. When you have completed your list, you can apply your saved library processing specifications, select the AR quizzes you want, choose which books should be processed as reference titles, and specify what quantities you want for each title. When you are finished making your choices, click “Recalculate” to make sure everything you want is figured into your final price. Click “Checkout” to proceed with submitting your order. Back to Top What is your return policy? All items offered by World Almanac Education are unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with any item for any reason, it may be returned for full credit or refund. Simply use the product return form located on the back of your shipment’s packing slip. As long as the items have not been school stamped or library processed, they may be returned for a full credit or refund. Back to Top How are your orders delivered? We ship all orders via United Parcel Service or Federal Express Ground for fast delivery. Please provide a street address (post office boxes will be delivered by U.S. mail). Delivery is F.O.B. We do offer Accelerated Reader titles. All books that are Accelerated Reader titles will be flagged with an Accelerated Reader logo  . Please note that when you are building an order and want AR quizzes, you will need to select the titles for which you want AR quizzes. AR quizzes are $2.69 each and there is a 20 quiz minimum. Quizzes are available through e-mail (no delivery charge) or on a CD-ROM for an additional $8.95 shipping and handling charge per order. Tell us which items you wish to preview and we will send you the products and a preview invoice. You then have 30 days to decide whether or not you want to keep the products you requested. When you create an account on the World Almanac Education website, you can select whether or not you would like to have free worksheets and product updates and promotions emailed to you. Simply make sure the boxes next to these options are checked before you click “Submit” and you will receive occasional emails that contain free research skills worksheets or product and promotional information. If you declined these options when you created your account and decide later that you would like to start receiving these emails, go to “Your Account” and select “Your Profile.” Your current information and selections will appear. Click “Edit” and make sure to check the boxes next to the email options and then click “Submit,” you are now set up to receive emails for free research skills worksheets and product and promotional information. Back to Top What is Kapco and how do I order it? Kapco’s Easy Cover II is a laminate cover that has been proven to extend the circulation life of your paperbacks by more than five times. To order a Kapco covered paperback, first perform a product search or browse and find the title you want. Kapco selections will be labeled “(Kapco cover)” in the title.
